How Much Space Do You Need for a Golf Simulator?
Space is the first question most homeowners ask — and the good news is you probably have enough. The minimum recommended footprint is around 10 feet wide by 12 feet deep, with a ceiling height of at least 9 feet. More room always means more comfort, but Virtual Tee has built functional simulator rooms in garages, basements, spare bedrooms, and commercial suites of all shapes and sizes.
Beyond dimensions, you’ll need a solid electrical circuit for the projector and electronics, a network connection for software and course downloads, and enough clearance behind the hitting position to swing a club freely. Light control is also essential for camera-based launch monitors — we install black-out curtains on every build.

Can you play real golf courses on a home simulator?
